M o l l y   B r i g g s

Molly Briggs’s work has been widely exhibited in the United States and is held in public and private collections in the U.S., Europe and Japan.  She received her M.F.A. from Northwestern University in 1998.  Currently she is an Instructor in the School of Art + Design at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Landscape History & Theory in the Department of Landscape Architecture at UIUC.  She taught for six years in the School of Art and Design at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), where she received the 2006 Silver Circle Award for Excellence in Teaching, and taught concurrently in the Department of Art Theory & Practice at Northwestern.    She is represented by Zg Gallery in Chicago.
